I have a land deed signed by McKinley but i just read that this task was handed over to an appointed secretary around 1830? Where can i find more information on this?
Hello! Thank you for your comment! What is the date on the land deed? Depending upon the date, the land deed may have been signed by William McKinley, Sr. which is President McKinley’s father.
I have a land deed signed November 24, 1899 from Washington State. Would that have been McKinley?
Thank you for your inquiry. It possibly could have been President McKinley since he did travel out west. We would need more information or an image of the land deed to know for sure. An image would allow us to compare that signature to his.
Hi Josh! It might have been. Is the signature legible?
