Favorite non- J. Massey Rhind bust in the museum.
What?
J. Massey Rhind is the sculptor behind most of our busts and the huge McKinley statue in the courtyard.
Yet, a few of the busts were done by other artists, one of which is the Andrew Mellon bust.
This bust clearly is from a different sculptor.
The sculptor who completed this work was Serafim Sudbinin who was an assistant to Auguste Rodin.
Yes, that Auguste Rodin.
