A Sad Day in History

On this day in 1901, anarchist Leon Czolgosz shot and mortally wounded President McKinley while the President was having a “meet and greet” in the Temple of Music at the Pan American Exposition in Buffalo, New York. This is a framed copy of the Pittsburg Post of September 7, 1901 that is in the Sposito Collection of the National McKinley Birthplace Museum.
