Special closing December 17, 2015

Please join our staff on Thursday December 17, 2015 at noon at the Tyler History Center in Youngstown for the monthly Bits & Bites of History.

December 17
Youngstown’s First Citizen: Joseph G. Butler, Jr.
Dr. Rick Shale, Author & retired YSU Professor
Joseph G. Butler, Jr. did much more for our community than build the Butler Institute of American Art and the McKinley Memorial in Niles. We will explore Butler’s early years, career, politics, and his many accomplishments that made him a beloved figure in the Mahoning Valley and beyond.

As such, the National McKinley Birthplace Museum will be open 9AM to 10:30AM and 1:45PM to 4PM on Thursday, to allow us to attend the meeting. Thanks!
